Basil is
originally native to Pakistan and other tropical regions of
Asia, It having been cultivated there for more than 5,000 years.
It is a member of the family Lamiaceae, grows to between 20–60
cm tall, with opposite, light green, silky leaves about 1.5
to 5 cms Long and about 1 to 3 cms Broad, tastes somewhat like
