Polygonati is a colonizing herbaceous perennial Plant family Liliaceae. growing to about 3ft tall, with alternate simple leaves on arching stems. The scented tubular flowers are white with green tips, borne in spring and hanging from the underside of the stems. Its rhizome usually used for Medicinal purpose which contains mucilage, asparagine, saponin, a cardio-tonic glycoside, and quinine gluconate.
